What We Collect

If you just browse and search WatchScout without creating an account, we don't collect any personal information about you. Searching, viewing titles, and checking availability all work without you signing up for anything.

If you create an account, we collect and store:

How We Use It

Account data exists purely to make the site work the way you'd expect: keeping you signed in, remembering what you want to watch, and letting you revisit your search history. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Third-Party Services

WatchScout relies on a few outside services to function:

Each of these services has its own privacy practices, governing how they handle data on their end.

Local Storage

To keep you signed in between visits, your browser stores a session token locally (not a tracking cookie, just a way for the site to recognize you're logged in). Clearing your browser's site data will sign you out.

Your Choices

You can delete individual items from your Watchlist, Watched list, or clear your entire search history at any time directly within the site. If you'd like your account and all associated data fully deleted, contact us and we'll take care of it.

Children's Privacy

WatchScout is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in any meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
